Planning permission confirmed for LIDL store in #Ballybough

It has been confirmed that planning permission has now been approved for the redevelopment of the former Annesley Motors site along Ballybough Road.
Now that permission for a new LIDL store, café and two retail units has been granted, I understand that LIDL hope to be in a position to start construction work in the Autumn with an envisaged opening by Summer 2023. I welcome this confirmation and the steps that have been taken to address concerns raised during the planning process.
As a result, Ballybough will benefit from €14m investment with the creation of 35 permanent jobs in LIDL and a further 100 jobs possible during the development phase of the project.
