#NorthInnerCity Traffic & Works Update – March 5th

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES:

BROOMBRIDGE ROAD, DUBLIN 7:

R

• Closed Broombridge Road, Dublin 7 from 8am to 6pm on Saturday 5^th March 2022.
• Closed to facilitate ground investigation works.
• Pedestrian and local access will be maintained.
• Traffic wishing to travel on Broombridge Road to Ballyboggan Road will be diverted via Rathoath Road.

DOMINICK PLACE, DUBLIN 1:

• Dominick Place (from Dominick Place to Dominick St Lower) Dublin 1 from Midnight on Tuesday 15^th February 2022 to 12am on Saturday 19th March 2022.
• Closed to facilitate the installation of drainage works and road re-surfacing.
• Pedestrian and local access to be maintained.

DOMINICK STREET LOWER, DUBLIN 1:

• Dominick Street Lower (from Parnell Street to Dorset Street Upper), Dublin 1 from 8am to 11pm daily between Monday 7th March 2022 and Sunday 13th March 2022.
• Closed to facilitate water upgrade works.
• South bound traffic via Bolton Street and Kings Inn Street
• North bound traffic via Bolton Street/Dorset Street/ St. Mary’s Place North/ Mountjoy Street/ Blessington Street/ North Fredericks Street/Parnell Square East/Parnell Street.
• Pedestrian and local access to be maintained.

From under railway bridge to Gardiner Street Lower junction.

Works Involved: Removal of Cobble from Central median between the road and the Luas line.

Works Involved: To locate and repair leak on water mains.

Date of Works: March 5^th.

Contractor: DCC Water Division.

Dominick Street Lower:

Works Involved: Installation of drinking water.

Date of Works: March 7^th – 11^th.

Contractor: GMC Utilities / Irish Water.

Dorset Street Upper:      

Between Eccles Street and Frederick Street.

Works Involved: Sewer relining.

Date of Works: March 5^th – 10^th, 7pm – 5am.

Contractor: Irish Water / GMC Utilities.

East Wall Road:

Works Involved: Locate and repair leak on water main.

Date of Works: March 5^th.

Contractor: DCC Water Division.

Guild Street:

Between North Wall Quay & Sheriff Street.

Works Involved: Sewer cleaning.

Date of Works: March7th – 10^th, 7pm – 5am.

Contractor: Irish Water / GMC Utilities.

Harold Road:

Works Involved: Build 8 Tree Pits on road verge, removal of 8 car parking space.

Date of Works: March 7^th – 11^th.
