#NorthInnerCity Traffic & Works Update – February 26th

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES:


Dominick Place, Dublin 1:

– Dominick Place (from Dominick Place to Dominick St Lower) Dublin 1 from 00.00hrs on Tuesday 15thFebruary 2022 to 24.00hrs on Saturday 19th March 2022.

– Closed to facilitate the installation of drainage works and road re-surfacing.

– Pedestrian and local access to be maintained.

DISRUPTIONS #NORTHINNERCITY

Beresford Place:

From under railway bridge to Gardiner Street Lower junction.

Works Involved: Removal of Cobble from Central median between the road and the Luas line.

Date of Works: 26th – 27th February.

Contractor: MCD Landscapes Ltd.

Charlemont Parade / Ulster Terrace:

Various locations.

Works Involved: sawcut & excavate with mini digger the footpath & reinstate with concrete.

Date of Works: 26th February – 2nd March

Contractor: DCC Road Maintenance/ RNCE

Clonliffe Road:

Junction of Drumcondra Road.

Works Involved: Pressure Management

Date of Works: 26th – 27th February.

Contractor: GMC Utilities Group / Irish Water.

Clonmore Road:

Various locations.

Works Involved: sawcut & excavate with mini digger the footpath & reinstate with concrete.

Date of Works: 26th February – 2nd March.

Contractor: DCC Road Maintenance/ RNCE.

Clonmore Terrace:

Various locations.

Works Involved: sawcut & excavate with mini digger the footpath & reinstate with concrete.

Dorset Street Upper:

From Eccles Street – Frederick Street

Works Involved: Sewer relining.

Date of Works: 28th February – 6th March, 7.00pm – 5.00am.

Dublin Port Tunnel:

Entire length

Works Involved: South Bore closure only

Date of Works: February 28th – March 2nd, 10pm – 5am.

Dublin Port Tunnel:

Date of Works: Wed 2nd – Fri 4th March, 10pm – 5am.

Guild Street:

To junction with Sheriff Street.

Works Involved: Telecoms Works

Date of Works: Tuesday 1st March, 7.30pm – 11pm.

Contractor: TSS /Freeflow Traffic Management.

Guild Street:

Between North Wall Quay – Sheriff Street.

Works Involved: Sewer cleaning

Date of Works: 2nd – 3rd March, 7.00pm – 5.00am.

Contractor: Irish Water / GMC Utilities.

Harold Road:

Works Involved: Build 8 Tree Pits on road verge.

Date of Works: 28th February – 4th March.

Contractor: MCD Landscapes Ltd.

North King Street:

Outside 48-59 North King Street.

Works Involved: Water mains repair.

Date of Works: 28th February, 7pm to 11pm.

Contractor: GMC Utilities.

Little Green Street:

At 1A

Works Involved: Reinstating Works.

Date of Works: 26th February.

Contractor: ESB/ Richard Nolan Civil Engineering.

North Circular Road:

Outside 1, 90, 231, 258, 273, 284, 296 & junction of Aughrim Street.

Works Involved: Footpath reinstatement

Date of Works: 26th February.

Contractor: Irish Water / GMC Utilities.

North Strand Road /Charleville Mall at the Royal Canal:

Works Involved: Placement of mobile crane to facilitate removal & replacement of gates.

Date of Works: On-going until February 28th.

Contractor: Waterways Ireland.

Ostman Place:

Works Involved: Build 8 Tree Pits on road verge, removal of 8 car spaces.

Date of Works: 28th February – 4th March.
