Montpelier Gardens – Whats happening with the green area?
During the lockdown and immediately prior to the introduction of the Covid19 restrictions, householders in the Infirmary Road area were in touch with me about the COuncil’s plans for the green strip of land at the entrance to Montpelier Gardens, (the area marked off in red above).
Officials from Dublin City Council have now confirmed to me that subsmissions made part of the Greening Stoneybatter initiative feature proposals for the development and use of this piece of land. I can confirm that when the draft Greening Plan for Stoneybatter is published in the coming weeks, details of the proposals will be made available.
