#CapelStreet Update – August 2023

Cairn Construction has been appointed by Dublin City Council to undertake upgrade works associated with the Capel Street Public Realm improvement programme.
They will begin on site early September, starting with the section between Ryder’s Row and Little Britain Street.
An information is being organised for next Monday, August 28th between 4pm and 7pm to enable local businesses and householders can meet with the Design Team, Council officials and the contractor. The session will be held in The Complex along Mary’s Abbey.
You can view in detail the drawings of what has been prepared as part of the Interim scheme for Capel Street that to me, appear more permanent than anything interim.
The below leaflet will be circulated in the coming days by Dublin City Council.
As ever, if you have any questions or queries about the information outlined above, please get in touch with me by email at RayMcAdam@gmail.com.
