#NorthInnerCity Traffic & Works Update – January 29th

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES:

Dominick Place, Dublin 1:

⁃ Dominick Place (from Dominick Place to Dominick St Lower) Dublin 1 from 00.00hrs on Saturday 15th January 2022 to 24.00hrs on Monday 14th Feb 2022. Closed to facilitate the installation of drainage works and road re-surfacing.

⁃ Pedestrian and local access to be maintained.

North Circular Road, Dublin 1:

⁃ Closed (from Portland Street North to Junction of Russell Street and fitzgibbon Street), Dublin 1 from 06.00hrs to 20.00hrs on Sunday 30th January 2022.

⁃ Closed to facilitate the removal of a tower crane from site.

⁃ Pedestrian access to closed section of North Circular Road will be facilitated through south footpath only.

⁃ Local Access will be provided to North Circular Road and adjoining roads between its junction with Belvedere Place and with Portland Street North.

⁃ Diversion for motorists wishing to cross North Circular Road from Belvedere Place towards Russell Street/Fitzgibbon Street junction will lead via Belvedere Place and onto Fitzgibbon Street up to its junction with North Circular Road.

⁃ Two diversion routes will be in place for motorists wishing to cross North Circular Road from Junction of Russell Street and Fitzgibbon Street towards Portland Street North.

⁃ First diversion would start in north direction through Russel Street, Jones’ Road, onto Clonliffe Road, Drumcondra Road Lower, Dorset Street Lower and onto Belvedere Road up to its junction with North Circular Road.

⁃ Second diversion would lead through Fitzgibbon Street and onto Belvedere Place up to its junction with North Circular Road.
