#NorthInnerCity Choice Based Lettings pilot scheme introduced

Since assuming the Chair of the #DublinCentral Area Committee of Dublin City Council, I have been working with officials in Sean McDermott Street to reintroduce a scheme of Choice Based Lettings for our housing complexes.

I am very pleased to report that a new series of the Choice Based Letting Scheme is being piloted in three housing complexes within the North-East Inner City.

Homes under the scheme will be available in:

• Liberty House, Railway Street, Dublin 1.
• Fitzgibbon Court, Fitzgibbon Street, Dublin 1.
• Courtney Place, Ballybough, Dublin 3.

There are twelve separate homes available through this initiative, including:

• Liberty House:
  • 3x 1-bedroom units,
  • 2x 2-bedroom units.
• Fitzgibbon Court:
  • 3x 2-bedroom units.
• Courtney Place:
  • 1x 3-bedroom unit,
  • 3x 2-bedroom units.

This morning’s meeting of the Dublin Central Area Committee agreed to extend the deadline for the submission of applications, at my request, to November 17^th at 5pm.

Application forms will be available from:

• The Central Area Office, 51/53 Lower Sean Mac Dermott Street Dublin 1. 
• Allocation and Transfers Section, Civic Offices, Fishamble Street, Dublin 8.

Application forms include a blog and the procedure instructions for applicants to read.
