New Revenue guidance has been published for remote workers claiming tax relief on Working From Home.
Budget 2021 allows Income tax deduction amounting in 30% of the cost of vouched expenses for heat, electricity, and broadband.
📌 30% deduction for electricity & heating bills.
📌 30% deduction broadband bills.
📌 If a bill is shared (eg flatmates) the cost can be apportioned based on the amount paid by each person.
