#QueenStreet to #Bridgefoot Street #Cycle link

At Tuesday’s Dublin Central Area Committee, Engineers from the Roads and Engineering Department of the City Council made a presentation to myself and local Councillors outlining its initial thinking about the proposed Queen Street to Bridgefoot Street cycle link.
I have detailed below images of the scheme currently bring prepared by the Council. The project is at a very early stage but I can confirm that the final design will incorporate pedestrian improvements with the widening of existing footpaths. There will also be signalised crossings which will involve segregated cycle and pedestrians paths.
I will keep you updated of further progress on the development of this scheme. Get in touch if you have any specific questions or queries, please email me at RayMcAdam@gmail.com.
