Matt Talbot Court redevelopment plan now being advanced – McAdam

As you know earlier this year, Fine Gael in Government, allocated more than €37.4m in initial funding to enable the redevelopment of Matt Talbot Court take place and provide new and better housing for families in the North Inner City.

This initial funding will set in train the process to deliver 92 new homes in a redeveloped Matt Talbot Court.

Dublin City Council is now undertaking the procurement process for the selection of a design team who will be responsible for leading the public consultation and preparing the detailed design and draft planning application for the redevelopment of Matt Talbot Court. Officials from the Housing Department expect that the design team will be in place early in the new year.

Once this team in situ, engagement with residents in Matt Talbot Court and surrounding neighbourhoods like Sean O’Casey Avenue, North Great Charles Street and Emmet Street for example will begin. Between now and then, I would welcome your feedback and any views that you may have.

Email me at RayMcAdam@gmail.com and I look forward to hearing from you.
