Where stands Dublin’s Bike Bunker scheme?

The Chief Executive of Dublin City Council responded to queries I put about moving forward with Bike Bunkers at this month’s Council meeting.
I am advised that the bike bunker scheme is being rigorously tested to ensure a seamless operation when the scheme opens.
Officials envisage the successful candidates will be informed via email about opening of the bike bunker scheme in a very short period. The candidates for the bike bunker are selected by who applied for a place first. New locations have being identified, surveyed and are presently dealing with the public consultation.
Two new bike bunkers will be opened on Ross Street and Black Street.
