Dear Neighbour,

A planning application that has been submitted to Dublin City Council for the redevelopment of lands off Manor Street for student accommodation.

As your LOCAL Stoneybatter Councillor, I wanted to make sure that you had all the information available about the details of this planning application.

LOCATION OF PLANNING APPLICATION:

No. 20, Stoneybatter and the lands to the rear of 20-23a Stoneybatter, and 1-2a Monor Street, Stoneybatter, Dublin 7.

KEY ASPECTS OF THE PLANNING APPLICATION:

⁃ Demolition of all existing structures on site including 20 Stoneybatter.

⁃ Construction of a 3-5 storey Student Accommodation development comprising a main block and Gatehouse.

⁃ The proposed Gatehouse is to be built on the site of 20 Stoneybatter.

⁃ Provision of 142 bed-space student accommodation complex, comprising 19 cluster units made up of:

⁃ 3x 4 bed clusters

⁃ 1x 6 bed cluster

⁃ 6x 7 bed clusters

⁃ 9x 8 bed clusters

⁃ 4x studio units

⁃ 6x bed-spaces within the Gatehouse building on 20 Stoneybatter.

⁃ Proposed ancillary facilities to include:

⁃ Internal communal space

⁃ Reception

⁃ Office

⁃ Roof terraces

⁃ Vehicular and Pedestrian access

The Reference Number for this Planning Application is 4734/18.

This planning application was lodged on December 21st last. Should you wish to see the full application it is available online at http://www.DublinCity.ie.

Anyone can lodge an observation on the planning application. If you decide to make an observation, it must be lodged in writing and sent to the Planning Department, Dublin City Council, Civic Offices, Wood Quay, Dublin 2 inclusive of the €20 fee before February 4th 2019.
