NORTH WALL MATTERS

As you know the Government, through the North East Inner City Taskforce, has provided the funding for a new and improved play area to be built for local children. Consultation took place with local kids as what they would like to see included in the play area and Dublin City Council has now selected The Children’s Playground Co. Ltd to carry out the installation works.

The new play area will feature:

• Curved water run
• 2-Fold Bars
• Waterwheel
• Leap Frog
• Floating Balancing Beam
• Swing with Basket
• Swing 2 Cradle seats
• Swing with 4 flat seats
• A covered Sand-play table

I know that it has taken somewhat longer than I would have liked for works to begin. However, they are now starting and it is envisaged that they will take three weeks to complete.
