Dublin City Council is calling on Dubliners to get their new year fitness journey off to a great start by joining one the Council’s Sports and Fitness Centres.
It’s a great chance for a new year, new you!
The centres have everything you need to get and stay fit in 2026.
They offer:
- Lots of amenities and activities
- A wide range of classes
- State of the art equipment including free weights and machines
- Fully trained and certified instructors
- 7 days a week opening times
- Flexible membership – from annual membership to pay as you go, they offer a range of flexible and affordable pricing options
- Swimming pools in Ballyfermot, Ballymun, Finglas and Markievicz Townsend Street

The Lord Mayor of Dublin Councillor Ray McAdam said: “Get your fitness journey in 2026 off to a great start at a Dublin City Council Sports and Fitness Centre.
