#PhoenixPark toilets

Senator Emer Currie has advised me that the Office of Public Works has confirmed to her that 7 temporary toilets will be installed at the Papal Cross car park this week.

This a very welcome news. I understand from Senator Currie, that if all goes well and there is no trouble with vandalism and usage, more temporary toilets will be rolled out to two more locations throughout the Phoenix Park in the coming weeks.

Other locations being considered are the Cricket pavilion and the area at the soccer pavilions on the south side of the Park.

Although these facilities are temporary, they are much needed with the sunny weather and increased footfall to be expected over the next four to five months.
