STONEYBATTER ROAD RE-SURFACING WORKS

Further to my updates earlier this year, I want to advise you that Dublin City Council will be carrying out the re-surfacing of Kirwan Street Cottages and Sitric Road in the coming weeks.

The re-surfacing works are taking place on foot of further I secured this year to continue the rolling programme of road improvements across Stoneybatter since 2015.

These works will result in the temporary closure of streets to enable the re-surfacing works to take place. Prior to their beginning, Dublin City Council or the Contractor selected to complete the re-surfacing, will communicate with households as to temporary parking arrangements for the duration of the works period.

KIRWAN STREET COTTAGES & SITRIC ROAD:
The Roads Maintenance Department of Dublin City Council envisages that the re-surfacing of both streets will take place at the end of August and across the first week of September.

Dublin City Council will finalise the selection of a contractor by early August, after which the relevant Temporary Road Closure orders will be sought.
